Having the incredible teams at Fabio's Ristorante Italiano Hermanus and Dal-Italia Italian Deli Hermanus supporting Restaurants SA is a privilege. Today I decided to pay Dal-Italia an unannounced visit... and I was absolutely gobsmacked.
The little deli I first discovered a few years ago has been transformed into what I can honestly describe as one of the finest Italian delicatessens and restaurants I have ever experienced... including those in Italy!
By pure coincidence, owner Fabio Lenci had just arrived and was sitting in his car when his son, Claudio, went to call him. From that moment, the rest is almost history.
I can honestly give Dal-Italia 10 out of 10 for the quality of their deli, the incredible range of authentic Italian products, their passion, knowledge, warm hospitality and outstanding service.
Fabio, Claudio and Carmen .. the entire family—you are doing a truly exceptional job. Thank you for making Restaurants SA proud to have you representing the UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy with such passion, authenticity and excellence.
