A Seafood Experience Worth The Journey
August 3, 2026 10:03 amYesterday I had the privilege of visiting Fish and More in Struisbaai for a meeting, a behind-the-scenes tour of their remarkable operation, and an unforgettable seafood experience.
The sheer scale of this business is astounding. From large cold storage and freezing facilities to a dedicated fish smoking room, ice-making plant and food preparation areas, it's clear this is far more than just a seafood restaurant. They also provide an outstanding service to the local fishing community by cleaning, gutting and even cooking freshly caught fish.
The highlight of my visit was an incredible seafood platter. The freshness, quality and flavour were simply exceptional—without doubt some of the finest seafood I have ever tasted.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Fish and More. I would gladly drive the 1½ hours again just for another meal. If you appreciate outstanding seafood, excellent service and uncompromising quality, this is a destination you simply cannot afford to miss.Rate Us- Was this review helpful?
