Exceptional Cuisine, Spectacular Setting
August 3, 2026 1:22 pmThere are meals you enjoy... and then there are those that stay with you long after the last bite. My dining experience at The Pavilion Restaurant at The Marine was one I won't forget.
From the moment the first course arrived, I knew I was in for something special. Every dish was beautifully presented, packed with flavour and prepared with obvious care and passion. I enjoyed a wonderful selection from the menu, including the Smoked Springbok Carpaccio, Cape Crayfish Salad, Catch of the Bay, Beef Fillet and Green Seafood Curry. Each plate celebrated the incredible produce of the Overberg while showcasing the creativity and talent of Executive Chef Oelof Vorster and his exceptional team.
The desserts were the perfect ending. The Passion Fruit Soufflé, Marine Pavlova and Dark Chocolate Fondant were as memorable as the spectacular ocean views.
What impressed me most was the attention to detail. Every course was beautifully balanced, allowing the quality of the ingredients to shine.
